My Card and Links
Fill in your Nanabase card, choose who sees each detail, and share your public card link. People can save your contact or leave their card for you.
Your card is how other people see you in Nanabase: your name, photo, job and the contact details you choose to show. You can also share it with anyone through a public link.
Open your card#
Click My Profile in the sidebar. The page reads "Your identity card", and it shows the card for whatever you have selected in the company switcher: your personal card, or your card for a company. If you have no card there yet, click Create my card.
What you can put on your card#
The card is split into sections: identity, photo, headline and bio, job, location and time zone, contact fields, availability, who can see what, sharing, and card settings.
- Photo: JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB. You can also pick a preset avatar.
- Contact fields: Phone, Email, Website / URL, Social link, Address and Custom. A card holds up to 30 contact fields. Social links can be LinkedIn, X / Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, GitHub, YouTube, TikTok, a website or a custom link.
- Availability: Available, Busy, Do not disturb, On vacation, Working remotely or Traveling.
Who can see each detail#
Under Who can see what, set each detail to one of four levels:
| Level | Who sees it | |-------|-------------| | Public | Everyone signed in to Nanabase who views your card | | Connections | People who saved you | | Company | Members of your company | | Private | Only you |
You can set this separately for Email, Phone, LinkedIn, Job title, Company name, Department, Website & social links, and All extra fields.
New cards start with these settings: phone is Private, email and department are Company, and everything else is Connections. Nothing starts as Public.
Your public card link#
In the Sharing section, turn on Public share URL to get a link to your card. Copy it and send it to anyone, or put it in your email signature.
- Anyone with the link sees your name and photo only. Email, phone, job title and company are never shown on the public page, whatever your other settings are.
- The page is not indexed by search engines.
- The link does not expire. Turn Public share URL off to pause it. When you turn it back on, the same link works again.
What a visitor can do#
- Save contact: on an iPhone this opens the add-contact screen. On other devices it downloads a contact file (.vcf).
- Leave your card for you: the visitor fills in their name, email or phone, company and role, and where you met, then sends it.
Cards left for you appear on My Contacts under Left for you. Save one to add it to your private list, or dismiss it.
Delete a card#
Open the Danger zone section of the card and click Delete card.
