Connections

See who keeps you as a live contact in Nanabase on My Profile, Connections, what each status means, and how to pause or detach a connection.

2 min read

Your connections are the people who have you saved as a live contact. When someone invites you to connect and you confirm, your profile is linked to the record they keep about you, and they see the details you choose to share. See Live profiles and claims.

See your connections#

  1. Click My Profile in the sidebar.
  2. Open the Connections tab.

Each row shows the person's name and email, when the link last synced, and a status:

StatusMeaning
LiveThey get your updates
PausedUpdates are paused. They keep what they already have.
DetachedThe link is ended for good
Update requestedThey asked you to refresh your details
Not yet connectedThe invitation has not been confirmed

If the list is empty, nobody has connected to you yet. People show up here after you confirm their invitation.

Pause or detach a connection#

Click Manage. It opens Manage claimed contacts on the Claim tab. That page lists the live profiles you receive from people you have as contacts.

  • Pause updates stops their changes from reaching you. Resume updates catches you back up.
  • Detach permanently ends the link. This cannot be undone, and you keep the current snapshot.

What they see#

Your connections see what the Who can see what settings on your card allow. Details set to Private are never shown to them. See My Profile and your card.
